Our Story
Ryder's Ranch was born from a simple but powerful vision: to create a world where no animal is ever "too much" to care for. Named after our daughter Ryder, this sanctuary is more than just a facility, it is a legacy.
In late 2022, we took three acres of South Florida land and began transforming it into a safe haven for the misunderstood, the surrendered, and the forgotten. What started as a family's passion has evolved into a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit sanctuary providing forever homes for those with nowhere else to go.

From the sweeping horns of our Highland cow to the intelligent gaze of our Macaws and the quiet power of Rusty the King Cobra, every animal here has a story and a permanent home.
Highland Cow, Goats & The Roaming Crew
Remington the Highland cow is the undisputed King of the Ranch, gentle, majestic, and always looking for a head scratch. Alongside him are Florida, Miss Boots & Brandy (our mischievous goat trio), plus our roaming crew of emus, chickens, and turkeys who came to us when they had nowhere else to go.
King Cobra, Venomous Snakes & Crocodilians
Rusty, our 13-foot King Cobra, is the crown jewel of our reptile program. Our Venomous Vault houses some of the world's most misunderstood predators, and Crocodile Creek is home to nuisance alligators that were destined for euthanasia. Every animal is managed under FWC-licensed professional care.
Rescue Macaws, 60 to 80 Year Lifespan
With lifespans reaching 60 to 80 years, Macaws are among the most frequently rehomed animals in the world. Our flock lives in a custom 15×36×8ft aviary and we are fundraising for a 60×30×20ft "Big Flight" habitat, giving our birds the space they need for true flight and real freedom.
Maintaining a 3-acre sanctuary is a labor of love and a significant financial commitment. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we rely entirely on our community. Every dollar goes directly toward food, veterinary care, and habitat construction.
The Person Behind the Mission
Tyler Nolan
Founder, Ryder's Ranch
If you know Tyler Nolan, you probably know him for his precision with a tattoo needle or his deep dives into the world of reptiles on YouTube. But behind the art and the screen is a South Florida native who has spent his entire life dedicated to the welfare of misunderstood animals.
Tyler grew up in the reptile industry, working in reptile stores from a young age. By 18, he had already secured his venomous and crocodilian permits, a testament to his lifelong commitment to professional husbandry and safety.
While his career led him to Spike TV's Ink Master and nearly a million YouTube subscribers, his North Star has always been the animals. Ryder's Ranch, named after his daughter, is his most important project yet.

Common Questions
Currently, Ryder's Ranch is a private sanctuary. Because we house sensitive species, including venomous snakes and large crocodilians, the safety of our animals and the public is our top priority. We share our mission daily through our YouTube channel and social media, and hope to offer private tours in the future.
Our founder Tyler Nolan has held his venomous and crocodilian permits since age 18. Every habitat at the Ranch is built to meet or exceed Florida Fish and Wildlife (FWC) safety standards, ensuring our animals are managed with the highest level of professional care.
Taking an animal in is only the beginning. Many of our residents, like Rusty the 13ft King Cobra or our Macaws, live for decades. A forever home means constant costs, construction (a 60ft metal flight aviary or concrete gator pond costs thousands), vet care (exotic animal vets are rare and expensive), and nutrition (from hay for Remington to specialized diets for venomous reptiles). Your donations build the infrastructure that keeps these animals safe for the next 50 years.
